Zen Koi 2 is a very special game where you control a small koi as it swims around a pond, trying to eat plankton and other smaller fish to level up, then find another fish to have offspring with.
Gameplay is very simple. By tapping on the screen, you can choose which direction to move your fish. In the beginning, it's difficult to catch prey because your fish swims slowly, but as you level up, you can improve these attributes.
The pond in which your fish swims is full of surprises. Sometimes, you'll find power-ups to swim faster, as well as a kind of activator that lets you increase the size of the pond. Sometimes, when you increase the size of the pond, you can also 'upgrade' your fish by turning it into a flying dragon. When it's a dragon, you can fly through space and trace constellations.
Zen Koi 2 is a relaxing and pleasurable experience that's even more enjoyable with headphones. Visually speaking, the game is a real delight, with much better graphics than the first title in the saga. The controls have also been considerably improved in this second installment.
